Individual & Family counseling services are available to assist you in working through differences and conflicts. A third-party can be helpful in giving perspective in many situations.
Pickett Fences Family Stabilization and Mental Health Services is now approved as a EHEAP center.
All communities have firms who assist individuals with employment training & placement services. This type of service can be helpful in preparing you for part or full-time employment.
Resources provide information on programs and strategies to help transitioning youth and adults to develop the life skills they will need as they become self-sufficient by providing them with providing them with the adaptive and positive behavior that will effectively build the coping skills needed assist them life challenges and barriers.
These services are advocated on behalf of people who are unable to access legal representation. Legal aid is regarded as central in providing access to justice by ensuring equality before the law, the right to counsel and the right to a fair trial.
Linkage of provisions and nonperishable items, are supplied free of charge to people in need. Linking clients to SNAP benefits if they meet the Federal requirements for the program.
The Individualized Education Program, often called the IEP, is a legal document under United States law that is developed for each public school child in the U.S. who needs special education. It is created through a team of the child’s parent and district personnel who are knowledgeable about the child’s needs.
Rental assistance is monetary help with rent that can come from a government agency or a nonprofit within our community. Clients are linked to providers based on eligibility and availability.
Activities of daily living (ADLs) are routine activities people do every day without assistance. There are six basic ADLs: eating, bathing, getting dressed, toileting, mobility, and continence. Clients are linked to providers to increase their level of functioning such as day programs, physical, speech, and occupational therapy programs, and Behavioral Health programs which affect these outcomes.
In a professional setting, relationship-building helps create opportunities for individuals to collaborate, idea share, get feedback and reduce stress through social support. Social Networking and Relationship Building assists clients in actively pursuing two-way dialogue, posing thoughtful questions, and making a conscious effort to acknowledge and accept feedback from others are all keys to establishing good working relationships and as a result, trusting connections can be made.
The coordination and collaboration of medical care to individuals or community providers to include but limited to such providers as linkage to Mental Health, Psychiatry, Individual/Family, Therapy Primary Care Providers, Vision, Dental, OB/GYN, and other specialty providers.
Advocacy for medical, emergency and non-medical transportation assistance programs to individuals that meet the program eligibility for services.
A Program that provides services to ensure that individuals have a process through which an individual (or a family) can gains a basic understanding of banking, savings, and the importance of good credit to for financial stability to increase in individuals level of functioning.
